Education is the key of a brighter future. Yet in most African countries, the right to education remains a dream.
In addition, cultural and social beliefs, attitudes, and practices prevent girls from benefitting from educational opportunities to the same extent as boys
Care Africa`s Educational task
For some years now, Care Africa has been working to increase access to quality primary, secondary and post secondary education in Africa. Our principal focus areas are:
1. Securing financial and material resources for education
2. Empowering women and girls through literacy programmes
To achieve these goals we thrive to fight against factors like violence, HIV and AIDS and poverty which restrict African children from going to school.
We work in partnership with children, parents, teachers, communities, teachers unions, researchers and educational bodies to achieve our goals.
